Beyond Science: The Mysteries of Creation, Consciousness, and the Cosmos
Why science alone cannot answer the deepest questions about existence and what other ways of knowing offer
Science excels at explaining the physical world through observation, measurement, and testable theories. Yet, it struggles with questions that lie beyond empirical reach: Why does the universe exist? What is consciousness? What is the meaning of life?
These questions have been the domain of philosophy and mysticism for millennia. While science provides powerful tools for understanding mechanisms and processes, it cannot fully capture subjective experience or metaphysical realities.
Recognizing these limits does not diminish science but highlights the value of integrating multiple ways of knowing. Philosophy offers critical reflection on assumptions and meanings, while mystical traditions provide experiential insights into consciousness and existence.
Such integration fosters a richer, more nuanced understanding of human existence and our place in the cosmos. It invites humility, wonder, and openness to mystery, complementing the quest for knowledge with wisdom and meaning.
